Story:
Recognizing the importance of data analytics in optimizing operations and driving productivity, Garten.co sought to provide B2B companies with a comprehensive tool that enables them to effectively track, analyze, and leverage data related to their food purchases.

Through their expertise in data analytics and a deep understanding of the B2B food industry, Garten.co has embarked on creating a 2.0 version of their analytics dashboard to address the specific needs and pain points of their target audience.

Previous Dashboard

The old dashboard was clunky, non-intuitive, and offered limited insights, impeding B2B wellness food businesses' ability to make informed decisions.

Problems of old dashboard

1. Lack of Intuitiveness: The previous dashboard was not user-friendly, resulting in a steep learning curve and difficulties in navigating and using the features effectively.

2. Misalignment with Market Strategy: The previous dashboard did not align with the market strategy and customer needs, failing to provide the necessary tools and insights required by B2B wellness food businesses.

3. Limited Potential: The previous dashboard had limitations in terms of scalability, customization options, and adaptability to evolving business requirements, hindering its ability to meet the growing demands of the market.

the problem statement

How can Garten.co enhance the UX of their analytics dashboard to better serve B2B companies purchasing food for their employees?

Questions

1. How can we improve the user experience (UX) of the analytics dashboard for B2B companies purchasing food for their employees?

2. What specific pain points and challenges do B2B companies face when using the current analytics dashboard for food purchases?

3. How can we enhance the data tracking and analysis capabilities of the analytics dashboard to provide valuable insights for B2B companies?

Design process

Goal-Centric Design: Iterative Process and About Face
Principles for Solution Refinement

The design process for tinkering the solution followed the guidelines from the book About Face and involved the following steps:

Gathering Inspiration: We explored wireframes from various established design styles like Apple, Google, and Airbnb to gain inspiration and understand different design approaches.

Feedback Collection: We sought feedback from the CEO, as well as other stakeholders and team members, to gather insights and perspectives on the wireframes. This feedback helped us understand their expectations and preferences.

Defining the Design Direction: We aimed for a "sophisticated" design, characterized by the strategic use of whitespace and spacing to create an elegant and visually appealing interface. Initially, finding the right design direction was challenging due to the lack of clarity and uncertainty.

Iterative Design Process: We followed an iterative approach, creating multiple versions of wireframes, incorporating feedback, and refining the design at each stage. This allowed us to explore different possibilities and gradually improve the design based on the insights gained.

User-Centric Approach: Throughout the design process, we kept the end-users in mind, focusing on their needs, preferences, and usability. User testing and feedback were incorporated to ensure the design met their requirements effectively.

Collaboration and Iterative Refinement: Collaboration played a crucial role, with continuous communication and collaboration between the design team, stakeholders, and users. This facilitated ongoing refinement and optimization of the design based on feedback and insights gathered.

Alignment with About Face Principles: We adhered to the principles outlined in the book About Face, ensuring the design emphasized usability, user experience, and effective interaction patterns to create a compelling and intuitive analytics dashboard.

By following this design process, incorporating feedback, and aligning with the About Face guidelines, we were able to refine the initial wireframes, establish a sophisticated design direction, and ultimately create an intuitive and visually appealing solution for the B2B wellness food analytics dashboard.

Native app for monitoring and supervision during the date

Onboarding

After the user has seen the various uses that can benefit her in the use of our product we will ask her to identify as a woman to protect the purity of the product and to raise in her a sense of security.

Background Check

To motivate the user to use the app, we will lead her to run a background check on one of the guys she is communicating with. Checking the background can empower the value we offer - a sense of security and control - knowledge is power.

Date Entry

While entering the date data the app gathers all the information needed to provide the user with the protection she needs. The step will be broken down into several steps to reduce the effort required from the user which will also help to focus her at every step.

During the Date

During the date, the app will send alerts according to the settings we set on the "date entry".

Reporting

To collect information that will be useful to our users, at the end of each date the user will be asked to report the date. We will make sure at this point to lower her concerns by security stamp and noting the fact that the information she is providing remains confidential.
